Susie earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Costume Design from Albright College. She participated in an alumni fashion show at Albright, which earned her a spot to debut her collection “Buttons in Bloom” at New York Fashion Week in September 2023. Susie debuted her SS25 collection, Buttons Dreamhouse at Philly Fashion Week in September 2024. This was an expansion of her NYFW collection.

Susie currently works as the Wardrobe and Special Projects Manager for Live! Casino & Hotel Philadelphia where she oversees uniforms for more than 1,000 employees, designs specialty costumes and decorative displays for holidays and special events and manages the Wardrobe Department at the world-class facility.

Susie was instrumental during the opening of Live! Philadelphia, ensuring that both the property and its Team Members looked professional and welcoming. She built the uniform program starting from Day One, fitting and tailoring all new hires, while also designing costumes for the casino showgirls. Susie’s team continues to innovate and introduce new and creative uniforms, costumes, and specialty décor concepts to the property.

Prior to joining Live!, Susie held several roles of increasing seniority at various theaters and production companies across the Greater Philadelphia region. She has designed and stitched costumes for Opera Philadelphia, The Kimmel Center, and The Pennsylvania Ballet. She also spent time at Monkey Boys Productions, crafting costumes for puppets that can be seen on Netflix and Apple TV.

Susie’s designs have been featured on NBC10 Philadelphia, Philadelphia Magazine, and in the community during charity fashion shows.
